Crown Packaging approached Design District with the need for a fresh face. They're a company that puts things in boxes for a living; not terribly exciting. But their unmatched service record and passion impressed us. I conceived and wrote a script that got to the heart of the matter: customer satisfaction as professional promise. Simply put, Crown delivers. And we delivered on making them look darn good in the process.

As a pre-eminent religious academy, The Center for Judaic-Christian Studies needed an intro for a teaching series from esteemed professor Dr. Dwight A. Pryor. They had specific ideas they wanted to communicate about the nature of their beliefs and the multi-layered truths behind them.

An opus of cinema classics edited tightly around a matrimonial theme—more or less the story behind how I met my wife. Be sure to read the Legal Disclaimer, if you're interested.

For companies that produce marketable goods, brand management is critical, especially since store aisles are the new arena of product showdown: you need perfect packaging. Phototype wanted to communicate their par excellence in flex-print technology, but they let us have fun with it, so I wrote these spots to appeal to common frustrations in the chain of creation.

The Montgomery County (OH) Department of Sanitary Engineering (a.k.a. the water department) hired Design District to put a new face on their services—one kids could relate to. Our response was the mascot dynamic-duo of Dewey and Splash, a little boy and his sensible pet fish. This animation was our first foray into giving them life. We're working on the next, more sophisticated, installment.

Building Logix provides a wealth of building monitoring systems. They needed a continuously running promo for a trade show. I wanted to show the super-complexity of modern buildings that most folks take for granted.

Transeo Global Vehicle Solutions was an established company when Design District came on board to create this video, but they had virtually no presence, and a fledgling credibility. When they showed up at a trade show with this video and one of their brand new armored vehicles, they blew everyone away. They're now twice the size and growing.

Health Partners of Miami Valley (OH) does the work of saints, providing free health care to the thousands of county residents who do not have it. But Health Partners simply didn't have enough space, time or resources to do what they needed. They asked Design District for a video to spearhead a new capital campaign. We won a Telly for this, but that's a tiny accolade compared to the donor who watched the video, then turned around and donated six figures.

After designing the new logo for Four Corners Church in West Chester, OH, the media director approached me to come up with a video intro to start their weekly services. He gave me a bunch of photos to work with, and asked for "anything but a slide show".
